Our first day took us on a journey of history, faith and community. Chandragiri Fort, near Tirupati is the last bastion of the Vijayanagara Kingdom, and the fort built between the 11th and 15th century is still alive in its ruins.

It is in this fort, The East India company signed its first transaction and deal in India for land parcels on Chennai coast, which they later called Fort St. George, and began what’s now the legendary British trade, and later rule of India.
